Eco Sunscreen and Clarifier

Sun on your swimming pool is awesome, but not if your sanitiser isn’t protected. BioGuard Eco Sunscreen and Clarifier is a CYA (Cyanuric Acid) FREE stabiliser that protects the sanitiser from the suns UV rays.

Salt pools and chlorine pools need stabilised water to protect the sanitiser from being destroyed by the sun.  The UV rays rapidly destroy unprotected sanitiser in swimming pools increasing the chemical usage for the pool.

Unlike conventional CYA based stabilisers, BioGuard Eco Sunscreen and Clarifier is suitable for use with ALL pools systems. It is an innovative product that eliminates CYA build-up and is safe to use when ORP probes are present.

Eco Sunscreen and Clarifier also amplifies the naturally occurring oxidation properties of the sun, without forming toxic by-products. It also reduces turbidity, resulting in water that is up to 50% clearer.

In saltwater pools, Eco Sunscreen and Clarifier increases the life of the electrolysis cells (salt cells).

Manual Dosage

When using for the first time, add 200mL of Eco Sunscreen and Clarifier per 10,000L of pool water.  Thereafter, add 100mL per 10,000 L of pool water per week or 400mL per 10,000L of pool water per month.  Always add product directly to the deep end of the pool.   Run pump for 1 hour after application to disperse product.

Automatic Dosage

The correct dosage is preprogrammed into the DAISY PUMP, upon entering the pool’s details.  For any other brand of peristaltic pump, consult you BioGuard Approved Retailer for the correct dosage rate and start-up dose.

Above dosage rates should be adjusted to the bather load fo the pool.  If frequent backwashing is required, or pool is in an environment that is high in contamination, dosage rate can be doubled for peak performance.
